We investigated the socio-emotional well-being of elementary school-aged children residing in low-income German neighborhoods throughout two separate five-month periods of school closure, resulting from the pandemic, aiming to pinpoint the contributing factors behind their adaptation. Using logistic regression and two machine learning algorithms, a model to predict disapproval in workers' compensation insurance claims was devised.
The 42,219 cases show significantly higher risks of workers' compensation insurance disproving claims from women, younger workers, technicians, and associate professionals.
